Product Description

TGV (Tongue and groove) offers a flat faced finish with only a small v groove at the joint to allow water runoff.

Alaskan Yellow Cedar is a unique species in that it is very durable, much more so than even Canadian Western Red Cedar.
Found only on the Pacific coast of North America, Yellow Cedar is the hardest known cedar in the world. First used by the West Coast Indians for their historic Totem Poles and great war canoes due to its long durability. It grows in a band from Southern Alaska to Southern Oregon. It is one of the slowest growing trees in North America, 50-60 annual rings per inch are not uncommon.
It has high disease and decay resistance, making it the premium choice timber for cladding and roof shingles.

Cladding Profile Information

SP03 - Secret Nail TGV

TGV is one our most popular products with a flat face and a small V groove.

This secret nail version of the TGV profile allows for fixing through the extended tongue which is then covered by the next board to give a cleaner final finish where the fixings are not visible.

Uses of TGV can include:

  • Cladding external/internal walls and ceilings, including new build
  • Fencing/gates
  • Giving a modern look to an old property
  • Cladding an extension to give a contemporary dual-finish look.
